• Provide strategic direction for health programmes in alignment with organizational priorities and national health strategies. • Lead development and improvement of programme models, technical approaches, implementation strategies, and scale-up plans • Ensure integration of evidence-based and context-appropriate public health interventions across programmes • Support incorporation of innovative and technology-enabled solutions to strengthen service delivery, referral systems, data use, and programme management • Oversee implementation of health projects to ensure timely delivery, quality performance, and achievement of programme targets. • Support strategic collaboration and partnership development for resource mobilization and programme expansion. • Facilitate coordination with local government and health system actors to strengthen ownership and sustainability • Contribute to development of concept notes, technical proposals, donor reports, presentations, and strategic documents • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to programme teams. • Support capacity strengthening of technical and field staff through coaching, training, and performance support
• Master’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Health Policy, Health Economics, Development Studies, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in public health and development programmes, including senior-level programme management responsibilities. • Demonstrated experience in managing complex health programmes in Bangladesh or similar contexts. • Experience working in areas such as MNCH, primary healthcare, urban health, or health systems strengthening. • Good sense of confidentiality and cultural sensitivity. • Good proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required
