• Lead and execute fishery and aquaculture projects, including sourcing, processing, and distribution, aligned with the company’s agro-value chain strategy. • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. • Drive end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring consistent sourcing of high-quality fish from farmers, suppliers, and aggregators. • Build and maintain strong relationships with fish farmers, vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure long-term supply sustainability. • Oversee fish handling, cold chain logistics, storage, and transportation, ensuring minimal wastage and operational efficiency. • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards such as HACCP, GAP, and other regulatory requirements for local and export markets. • Implement and monitor quality assurance systems across the fish value chain to maintain product standards. • Identify new sourcing regions and business expansion opportunities to strengthen supply and market reach. • Support product development initiatives, including private-label fish products for retail channels. • Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, retail, and sales teams to align operations with business objectives. • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and industry partners. • Promote sustainable aquaculture practices and ensure environmental and ethical compliance across operations. • Track project performance, prepare reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fisheries, Veterinary Science, Marine Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in fisheries, aquaculture, or fish supply chain management. • Proven experience in project management within agro, aquaculture, or food sectors. • Strong understanding of fish sourcing, cold chain logistics, and quality control systems. • Experience working with retail chains, processing units, or export-oriented fish businesses is highly preferred. • Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GAP, etc.) and regulatory compliance. • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in dynamic, field-intensive environments.
