• Provide expertise, knowledge and advice to local management on current and emerging tobacco issues and the evolution of societal expectations, in order to increase understanding on how these issues impact the overall business strategy to develop appropriate business strategies for long-term growth. • Develop and execute a regulatory affairs strategy in areas such as marketing, sales and product regulation to respond to local business needs while ensuring in the long-term a level-playing field. • Lead affiliate engagement with external stakeholders and develop and maintain partnership with media, NGOs, government and other stakeholders to obtain participation of the organization in the development of local regulatory frameworks. • Direct communication initiatives that support the business and address societal concerns on tobacco issues to position PM internally and externally as a responsible manufacturer. • Ensure consistency of messages with the organization’s worldwide position. • Lead develop and execute internal and external communications strategies in order to support the business initiatives and priorities including regulatory and fiscal strategies and differentiate the company. • Develop and manage a Contributions and Community Relations program and strategy to address society’s needs and expectations in the Affiliate, as well as supports the business strategy. • Build up fair and transparent relationship with business stakeholders like National Board of Revenue, BIDA, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, DG Health and other relevant regulatory bodies.
• Graduation in Law, Masters in Business Administration, Political Science, Public Policy.
• 5-9 years of relevant experience. • A good understanding of the Country political, regulatory and social landscape • Strong analytical skills and sound knowledge of current local and international affairs. • Ability to form partnerships and networks
