• Collaborate closely with HRBPs to co-develop and execute ER policies and guidelines specific to the Bangladesh market, ensuring alignment with local business needs and regional HR objectives. • Lead the hands-on investigation and resolution of complex ER cases, including performance management (PIP), disciplinary actions, Domestic Inquiries (DI), absenteeism, and involuntary terminations. • Payroll & HR Operations: Support day-to-day operation of payroll-related tasks in collaboration with other GWO team members and outsourced partners. Ensure high-quality inputs/outputs and resolve complex timekeeping or payment issues to maintain workforce trust. • Data Analytics & Reporting: Utilize digital tools (ServiceNow, Oracle) to develop and analyze non-standard reports. Provide actionable insights on ER trends and people data to HR leadership during regular review meetings. • Regulatory Compliance & Audits: Act as the local HR compliance lead, ensuring all activities adhere to statutory requirements and internal controls. Lead and coordinate responses to internal and external audits. • Utilize HR analytics and digital case management data to identify localized trends, providing actionable insights to HR leadership during OGSM reviews and planning. • Build and maintain influential relationships with HRBPs, COEs, site functional leaders, and relevant external bodies to support workforce stability. • Drive the local adoption of HR digital tools (e.g., ad.a, Oracle HCM). Lead specialized regional projects focused on standardizing ER processes or enhancing manager capabilities across ASEAN. • Manage sensitive cases involving employee wellbeing, working closely with EHS and Legal to resolve complex health or safety-related employment issues. • Participate in the APAC Workforce Support community to ensure consistency in standards while serving as the "voice of Bangladesh" in regional process design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Law; specialized certification in Bangladesh Labor Law is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a deep knowledge on Employee Relations. Proven track record of managing complex ER cases and site-level restructuring independently. • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of the Bangladesh labor and industrial relations regulations and prevailing market practices. • At least 4 to 5 years of experience in managing payroll and HR operations is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangladesh local language. • Proven ability to operate as an individual contributor, demonstrating high self-motivation and the ability to drive results with minimal daily supervision. • A practical, solutions-oriented mindset capable of resolving practical challenges at both the worker and professional levels. • Competency in using digital tools and HR systems to streamline HR operations. • Strong ability to influence senior site leaders and HRBPs, navigating a matrix organization to achieve win/win outcomes. • Willingness to travel within Bangladesh or regionally as required.
