• Formulating, reviewing or updating supply chain policies and practices in accordance with new or changing policies, standards, regulations or laws and ensure adherence to those across all departments/assigned concerns. • Manage the total supply chain by ensuring uninterrupted flow of required materials and services. • Organizing supplier selections, including competitive bidding and competitive evaluation through effective documentations – for example comprehensive comparative statements supported with all required supporting documents. • Design and implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions and cost reduction strategies without compromising quality. • Responsible for qualifying suppliers, supplier management, and implementation of the monitoring and management of major projects. • Conduct routine assessment of supplier performance, communication and management, maintaining good relations with suppliers. • Develop methods and procedures for scheduling of raw materials from suppliers to support manufacturing in achieving customer demand and minimizing cost impacts to organization. • Ensure organization is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline from a recognized university • Master’s degree (MBA / M.Sc. in Supply Chain or Operations) will be an added advantage. • Professional certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, CPSM, or PGD in Supply Chain Management will be preferred.
• Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in procurement and sourcing, including at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role (GM/AGM/Head of Procurement) in a reputed local or top-tier company in Bangladesh.
