• Develop product assortment and merchandise mix, including in-house products that will answer all market needs in every outlet. • Develop annual promotion plan and communication for the categories that will support brand development and revenue growth. • Be accountable for developing risk management strategies and identifying market trends, niche markets, and opportunities in order to maximize profits and revenues for the categories. • Maximize turnover by ensuring product availability through process improvement and suppliers’ development. • Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure buying terms, conditions, and services to Organization are the best, whilst ensuring win-win situation. • Coordinate and develop suppliers to improve the effectiveness of supply chain for the categories. • Monitor competitor activities and consumer trends by gathering regular Market Intelligence and analysing customer insights. • Design & develop merchandising concepts including fixtures and planograms for outlets, ensure strict implementation and provide regular updates on performance. • Train, coach and motivate the Category team to deliver financial objectives. • Develop Category Specific SOPs/ Manuals to ensure effective adherence to QMS. • Legal and regulatory compliance
• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
• Working experience 8- 10 years • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Retail industry • Result orientated • Familiar with SAP ERP system • Planning, organising, problem solving, decision making • Negotiation Skills • Ability to build, develop and maximise relationships with key suppliers and vendors at very senior levels • Well organised, but flexible to changing priorities • Plenty of energy and motivation • Product Knowledge & Market Knowledge
