• Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, including Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance Sheets, and periodic management reports. • Establish, monitor, and enforce accounting controls, policies, and procedures. • Maintain accurate financial records, books of accounts, and relevant registers. • Manage bank books, general ledgers, party ledgers, and other accounting records. • Oversee proper coding, posting, and recording of accounting vouchers in the accounting system. • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc management information reports for leadership review. • Ensure accurate preparation of Cash Flow Statements and Bank Reconciliation Statements. • Monitor withholding VAT and TAX deductions, ensuring timely government deposits. • Safeguard account documents and maintain confidentiality of financial information. • Manage vendor and party payments, ensuring timely processing and follow-up. • Supervise employee payment requests, salary sheets, and final settlements, including accurate tax calculations. • Maintain the Fixed Asset Schedule, depreciation calculations, and compliance with accounting procedures. • Assist and coordinate with auditors during the preparation of audited accounts. • Liaise with banks for payment instructions, transactions, and related issues. • Prepare journal vouchers and review all types of vouchers (JV, CRV, BRV, CPV, BPV). • Lead the implementation and effective use of accounting software. • Recommend and implement improved accounting methods, procedures, and internal controls. • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce; MBA/BBA with a focus in Finance & Accounting.
• Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience. • Professional qualification such as FCMA preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook). • Up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in finance and accounting. • Strong leadership qualities, organizational skills, and the ability to build professional networks.
