• Drive and manage parts sales targets for both retail and workshop channels. • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal (workshop) and external (retail/wholesale) customers. • Ensure timely availability and delivery of spare parts to enhance customer satisfaction. • Champion a customer-first mindset across all parts operations, ensuring superior service standards. • Oversee and manage the entire parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing obsolescence. • Plan and execute the setup and management of a central parts warehouse, ensuring scalability and efficiency. • Conduct regular inventory audits and implement accuracy controls. • Ensure alignment of stock levels with forecasted demand and lead times. • Lead parts logistics planning, including warehousing, distribution, and last-mile delivery optimization. • Monitor back-orders, delivery timelines, and supplier performance to ensure smooth operations. • Collaborate with logistics partners and suppliers to improve turnaround times and reduce costs. • Set competitive and profitable pricing for spare parts based on market trends, OEM pricing, and cost analysis. • Liaise with appointed OEM suppliers for timely procurement and order planning. • Negotiate favorable terms and maintain strong supplier relationships. • Utilize Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) to manage daily operations. • Generate reports related to stock levels, sales performance, turnover rates, and KPIs. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying logical thinking and process optimization methods. • Ensure all parts-related data is accurately maintained within the system. • Lead, mentor, and develop the parts department team. • Ensure staff are trained on systems, product knowledge, and customer service standards. • Promote a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related fields).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an automotive Spare Parts Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts. • Proficiency in Dealer Management Software (DMS) and Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC). • Excellent understanding of inventory management, pricing strategy, and supply chain coordination. • Strong strategic planning skills, with proven ability to set up and manage a central parts warehouse. • Knowledge of parts logistics planning and distribution models.
