• Oversee daily finishing operations to meet production targets, ensuring timely and efficient completion of orders. • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure thread meets all industry and company standards. • Collaborate closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to address any operational issues and drive improvements. • Monitor and analyze finishing department performance metrics, identifying areas for process improvement and waste reduction. • Train, mentor, and guide finishing team members, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous learning. • Develop and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. • Support the Manager - Finishing in production planning, resource allocation, and implementing new finishing techniques and technologies. • Manage inventory of finishing supplies and raw materials, ensuring timely replenishment and minimal downtime. • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, promoting best practices across the finishing team. • Prepare regular reports on finishing performance, identifying trends, challenges, and achievements to inform senior management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in finishing processes, with a solid understanding of quality control and operational efficiency. • Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting. • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
