• Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to drive growth, focusing on product categories and market segments with the highest potential. • Stay informed about competitive activities that impact the business environment. • Identify and build relationships with key customers. • Drive sales and revenue growth by implementing aggressive growth strategies, achieving sales targets, and managing key accounts. • Provide input to product development teams on market preferences and requirements. • Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities and manage the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing. • Work closely with the salesteam to generate leads, pitch products, and close deals. • Monitor sales performance and market penetration to track progress against business objectives. • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the brands in the market. • Enhance brand awareness and reputation by organizing or participating in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions. • Advocate for the brand's values and position within the footwear and specialty market. • Develop and manage the annual business budget • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, financial projections, and profitability reports for senior management. • Ensure all business activities comply with local laws, regulations, and company policies. • Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Prepare regular reports for senior management on market insights, sales performance, competitor analysis, and progress against targets. • Utilize analytics to assess the success of different strategies and adjust plans accordingly.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the footwear, fashion, or specialty product industries. • Proven track record of driving sales and expanding market presence. • Strong understanding of the footwear and specialty market dynamics in Bangladesh. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders. • Proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. • Experience in market research, analysis, and competitive strategy development.
