• Work closely with Marketing Director and Sales Team to ensure a unified approach, integrated activities and support throughout the strategic planning process • Provide useful insights to Marketing and Trade Marketing teams for new products development, brand activation and trade marketing activities • Manage cooperation with outsourcing suppliers in providing reliable market and consumer data, high-quality level of reports, cost optimization process and performance tracking • Ensuring efficient projects contracts management flow (Legal, Finance, signatures) and timely PR & PO’s approval • Keep in touch with Sales team to help the sales organization to identify gaps and opportunities in order to increase Volumes • Constantly review developments and best practices in Research, Analytics, Business Information Management. Share and apply Best Practice techniques in Market by ensuring compliance with Regional and Global practices • Lead development and maintenance of company reporting repository. Manage reporting system organization wide, including development and regular updates of company Dashboards • Organize and regularly review company data gathering, analysis and recommendations to enable decision making whilst avoiding inefficient use of company resources on unnecessary data collection and processing • Ensure efficient budget management and controls by providing a monthly status report and provide research budget phasing proposal twice/year • Develop scenarios for Market size evolution, consumption and Illicit trade evolution • Work closely with the Marketing Director for the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of all research tools and methodologies for the Bangladesh market • Collaborate with Brand, Portfolio and Trade marketing teams to identify market opportunities, provide meaningful insights and close the knowledge gap
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from reputed university, MBA or others equivalent educational background is desirable
• 12+ years of relevant experience in managerial positions within FMCG commercial functions (Sales/Marketing). • Experience of working in other markets represents a plus • Knowledge on external environment (taxation, pricing, external/corporate relations, legal) • Experience on Market research (consumer & trade), consumer, shopper and trade insight
