• To maintain General Ledger by scrutinizing the General Ledger to ensure accurate and fair books of accounts and timely reporting of Monthly reports. • Guide the subordinates in carrying out their duties by daily discussions and KIT/PAT to ensure smooth co-ordination between departments and to achieve department goals. • Review and monitor cash flow and ensure optimum utilisation of working capital. • Prepare schedules on monthly basis for all Balance sheet accounts. • Responsible for VAT, TAX and all local statutory compliances • To prepare and maintain Fixed Assets and Depreciation schedule in IFS to ensure accurate records of fixed assets. Main tasks: • Responsible for Tax and local statutory compliance • Internal control responsible • Assisting FM in analysis and driving key KPIs in the company • Assisting FM in preparations of Business Reviews and Board meetings • Payroll processing including TDS calculations. • Maintenance of Asset register & preparation of Depreciation schedule. • To handle monthly closing activities as per checklist • To review monthly JV’s for accrued expenses, prepaid expenses and preparing schedules. • Perform ledger scrutiny to ensure the accuracy of the monthly expenses. • Approve payment vouchers • Assist in preparation of Strategy, Monthly reports & other MIS reports. • Comply to any ISO/HSE requirements/rules
• Chartered Accountancy/ equivalent professional qualification
• 3-6 years of work experience in a similar role • IFS / Accounting software knowledge preferred • Good command over MS Excel and PowerPoint • Knowledge of best practices in internal controls • Good knowledge of Bangladesh legislation and local taxation
