• Study national labour market and wage trends, various relevant government labour legislation from time to time and ensure awareness and compliance with the law. Align internal policies accordingly. • Design, maintain company mechanism to collaborate with employee organization groups and proactively manage to ensure a harmonious working environment, personal grievance costs and issues are minimized • Act as a coach/mentor for all managers, helping them develop their people and management skills • Identify potential employees and recommend appropriate developmental program and career movements (secondment programs, overseas assignments) • Identify and maintain a succession plan for all key Country positions. This will include planning and implementing appropriate development and retention program for key individuals identified in the plan • Recommend to company senior management team about company compensation philosophy tailored to business requirement, develop, adjust company compensation and benefit programs under guidance of company compensation strategy and global / APEC policy, so to attract, motivate and retain talent • Manage the design of adequate T&D programs including identifying training needs, initiating and developing customized courses and development plans that will enhance the effectiveness of employees’ business knowledge and technical skills for optimum performance, aligned to the strategic direction • Carry out the annual Employee Opinion Survey to measure staff morale and organization climate, then develop and implement effective strategies and action plans to improve target areas determined • Managing employee associations (unions, collective agreements, etc) if and when relevant • Country CIS champion as CIS (Certified International Specialist) is the common platform for all internal trainings for network • Achieve productivity through HR Metrics and Strategic Reporting Tool • Design and control budget plan of national human resources department based on company business plan. • Manage the HR cost effectively • Clearly define department role, responsibility and performance targets for the function • Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness • Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team • Develop IKOs with team members and monitor individual performance • Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Human Resources
• 10-12 years of relevant HR experience with at least 3 years in a senior management role, preferably in MNC • Mastery of technical HR competencies in change management, recruitment, C&B, training and employee relations
